Where are you from/where do you live? I was born and raised in West London and I’ve lived here all my life. I absolutely love the city—everything is so accessible! But one day, I’d love to live in a place that offers the best of both worlds: the excitement of the city and the tranquillity of the countryside.

When did you join Proxima? I joined Proxima in November 2024.

What is your role as a Talent Acquisition Assistant with Proxima? My role involves scheduling and arranging interviews across the UK, US, and Germany. I also facilitate screening for our data roles and help with our annual graduate and internship intake plus so much more!

What does a typical day look like? I like to start my day with a catch-up session with the team to ensure we are all on the same page. Throughout the day, I maintain our reports and ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date. Keeping our ATS system organised is pivotal to our interview process and scheduling. Providing support to the rest of the recruitment team is also vital in my daily tasks.

What’s a common question you get from applicants? One common question I get is, “What do you love about working at Proxima?” (And trust me, I can go on about this for ages!)

What do you like most about your job? I love that my role involves a variety of tasks within recruitment. Being able to support where needed and optimise processes is incredibly fulfilling. I am passionate about improving the candidate experience and feel driven by the importance of what I do.

What are you most proud of about working at Proxima? I’m proud to work for a company that truly values its employees, and that shines through in the comprehensive packages offered at Proxima, making me feel supported both professionally and personally.

What do you like to do when you aren’t working? I’ve recently taken up paddle, and it’s so much fun, especially when playing with friends or family. I’m not an expert, but it’s something I really enjoy! I also like to take my annual leave up to its fullest by going abroad when I can to explore new cultures and adventures in the world!
