SIMON GEALE
EVP, Chief Procurement Officer
As EVP at Proxima, I am responsible for products, solutions, and marketing. I like to view my role as understanding the sorts of challenges that current and prospective clients face and then calibrating Proxima solutions to solve them.
My (brilliant) team is thus accountable for presenting Proxima in the market, what we do, and how we talk about it. I’m also a regular writer and speaker on all things procurement, digital, and change-oriented. I’ve spent over a decade working in solutions. This has allowed me to design hundreds of commercial programs and
solutions across various sectors and in multiple geographies.

RENÉ PATRI
Senior Vice President
I have over 25 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, and Procurement Outsourcing, delivering results at both strategic and operational levels within complex multinational organisations.
Peers and management recognise me as an effective leader, programme and change manager, capable of building strong relationships and driving results across all levels. I’ve led large-scale optimisation and transformation projects that have delivered significant benefits to clients. My core areas of expertise include Strategic Sourcing, BPO and Outsourcing, Procurement Optimisation, and Transformation.

DANIELA PLEISS
Senior Consultant
I’m a highly adaptable and diligent procurement professional with experience in complex organisations across both the private and public sectors. I focus on fostering innovative solutions to support business transformation and change programmes, while delivering sustainable cost improvements.
Over the past eight years, I’ve specialised in technology procurement, developing expertise in software licensing, professional services, and mobile application development. I’m also a native German speaker.
